Big Walk. Big Jumps.

Picture
Just south of Whangamata is the Parakawai Valley. A 5km walk will take you through some beautiful bush and past loads of swimming holes. However the best is at the end of the loop walk with a series of pools punctuated with waterfalls.

The Parakawai was once heavily mined and at the moment is being prospected for more booty.
